126 - Diagnose Patient Treatment

This course will give you a good background on diagnosing dental treatment. It will not go into the various amoralities sometimes found in the patient’s mouth. Diagnosing is a team approach starting from the Front Desk, through the assistant, hygienist, and doctor. All of them are contributing to the process.

Sometimes we can undo the damage, but if we have extracted the tooth it will not be possible.

We cannot be in a hurry to form our diagnosis. Yes, we have other patients waiting, but we should not rush the diagnosis. We should schedule our patients to allow us time to evaluate the patient’s diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan. This should take you thirty to forty minutes, but usually we push to do this in five or ten minutes.
